Albert: I passed all of my exams.
Rafa: Hey! Well done! That's great news. What grades did you get?
Albert: Four a, two Bs and a C.
Rafa: No! Really? That's incredible! How on earth did you do that?
Albert: I dunno. I must be a genius.
Rafa: So are you going to celebrate?
Albert: Yes. I can't wait to tell Mum and Dad. I'm going to call them right now.

Speaking: Asking about rules

Rafa: Excuse me.
Albert: Yes?
Rafa: I'm afraid you can't park your motorcycle there.
Albert: Oh right, sorry. Where am I allowed to park?
Rafa: Parking is prohibited in all of this area.
Albert: I just wanted to go into this shop for a moment.
Rafa: Sorry but you'll have to park somewhere else.
Albert: Is there anywhere near here?
Rafa: Yes, you could try Walton Street, down there.
Albert: OK then. Thanks for your help.

Robot suit
A Japanese company has been working on a robotic suit that could help the old and the disabled person. Comprised of robotic limbs and a backpack containing a battery and computer system. When the wearer tries to move tiny nerve signals in the skin are detected by HAL, and converted into moviments. So advanced is the technology that the company is already renting the robot suits. We assume that it is Japanese humour that made the company choose Cyberdyne Corporation as its name, a reference to the company responsible for the end of the world in the Terminator movies.


Electric cars
2009 was the year the world embraced the electric car. The reason this is not yet evident is that the technology won't be in place for another two years, but several countries are already investing in infrastructure to support the change. The boldest experiment is taking place in Israel, where a company called Better Plave has convinced the government to install 500000 electrical-charging points for cars. Planned to start in 2011, the system will use Renault-Nissan's new range of battery-powered vehicles. The innovative sapect of this system is that cars in need of charging can drive into a station where a robotic arm removes the battery and repleces in with a fully-charged one. The process will take about three minutes the time needed to fill a tank of petrol. China meanwhile, plans to dominate tha car industry of the future by producing cheap electrical cars through the company BTD Never heard of it? Remember that you saw it here first when you buy one...

-What's the best activity for you to learn English?
In my opinion the best activity of the term to learn English is Invictus exercises because, in the same time, we learned history and we practiced English.

- What did you find more difficult? Why?
Cooking project is the most difficult exercise because I had to searched a lot of information, and I had to do the video.

- What's your favourite?
My favourite activity of the term is is Invictus because it's a lot of interesting and we went to the cinema.

I think that the best blog is the Ferrer's blog because he's very complete and original.
