Diary: december

1rst week: This week we only went to the school three days because on Monday and Tuesday was holiday. In school we studied a lot because we had an exams. At the weekend we played a basketball match.

2nd week: This week is the last of the first term. And we didn't do a lot of things. On Friday we celebrate a Christmas breakfast and we watched a film in class.In saturday morning we played a basketball match in Banyoles.

3st week: It's holiday!

WRITING: Summary Twilight

In Phoenix, Arizona, Isabella is a girl who moves to Forks to live with her father, Charlie. Bella is shy and she doesn't like rain. When she started school, she met new friends. He seated next to Eduard Cullen, who disappears for a few days. In the school parking, Eduard saves her life when he appears next to her and stops a car with his hands. Jacob Black is a friend of Bella's family. He tells the local tribal legends to Bella. Bella concludes that Eduard and his family are vampires who drink blood. Eduard confesses to Bella and they fell in love. Then other vampires sweeps into Forks. James wants to hunt Bella. The Cullens distract James and Bella is sent to a hotel. Then Bella receves a phone call from James, and he attacks her. Eduard and his family rescues Bella, but James has bitten Bella's hand. Eduard sucks the venom of Bella. After that, Bella is in hospital with her mother and Eduard.

Personal Observation

I think that my oral was correct, but during the presentation I felt very nervous. And I think that my oral presentation was very short. The music of presentation didn't sound, it was terrible!!

The best presentation

I think that the best oral was the Claudia's presentation. She talked about Twilight. She has spoke with a good vocabulary and her oral was very extensive and interesting.

Marc Guilana:
Marc talks about the sport windsurfing and the famous trainers
I think that oral of Marc has had good and I like many things about this sport.

Sergi Molina:
Sergi talks about how a teenager understand the actual world. I don't understand this oral presentation but I think that is very interesting.

Franc Pedro
Franc talks about the motorbikes competicion, he talks about the championships and then talks about the pilots and her motorbikes.
I think that oral hasn't had good.

Marc Noguè::
He talks about curiosities of the actual world. This oral was very interesting and I think it's a good oral presentation.

Pol Masvidal:
He talks about the supernatural phenomenas: tornados, earthquakes...I think that oral has had good and very interesting. It's very extensive!

Sílvia:
She talks about the types and styles of Fashion. I think this is one of the best oral presentations because it was very interesting.

Albert:
He talks about he animals and her curiosities. Was very interesting and I think that is the one of the bests orals presentations.

He talks about the types of motorbikes and the circuits. I think that presentation is good and very interesting.

Halloween

It's halloween and we started to watch Twilight in English class. It's an interesting film: Bella is a girl who go to live in Forks where she meet new friends.

Diary: November

1st week: In this week we played a basketball match in Girona. We won the match and I annoted fifteen points. In the school we study a lot because next week is the week of exams.

2nd week: In this week we played the orals presentations in class of English. Was terrible! In sunday morning we played a basketball batch in Banyoles.

3st week: In this week we started to do exams of English, Català, Castellà, etc. It's very difficult. We played a basketball mach in Can Puig, but we are the losers.

Writing: A news story

The asphalt sank

This was a dramatic scene last week at Progress street in Banyoles. One car had an accident when the asphalt sank.
The incident began at twelve o'clock. There was a big sound while the driver was driving the car.
At first the driver was very scared. The man was screaming. Then firemen arrived, and, as the rescue started, the driver became calmer.
After three hours, the man who was driving the car was final on the ground again. Later, the man said, "It was the most experience of my life".

Surfing kings
For most people, however, Hawaii has and always will be the surfers' island. Barack Obama has won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. I think that he won the title because he was a charismatic person. But I don't like that he have won the title.

DIARY: OCTOBER

1rst week: In this week we haven't played a basketball match. In the school, we have an exams of Castellà and Matts. I studied a lot!

2nd week: In this week we playing a basketball match in Banyoles. I annoted nine points. Monday was holyday because was the day of Mare de deu del Pilar.

3rst week: In this week I celebrate my birthday. I have fifteen years now. In Saturday, I played basketball match in Figueres. We was the winners.

4t week: In this week I played a basketball match in Banyoles and I annoted 23 points. It's fantastic!In the school we did do an exam of Mats.

DETROIT

Soul music is simply gospel without God. So it's not surprising that all the great soul stars of 1960s began as gospel singers.Many would argue, with justification, that the greatest soul music came out of Memphis and Philadelphia, but there is no doubt that the most succeful version of the sound came from Detroit, home of Berry Gordy's Motown Records.

The Motown Machine
Motown is short for "Motor Town", a reference to Detroit as the home of the US car industry. Indeed, the assembly line production method was a central inspiration for Gordy's approach to recording. Initially, Motown singers were treated as elements in a Machine rather than artists. To make black soul music acceptable to withe audiences, the emotion(the sould in effect) was removed, replaced by a dance beat that was impossible not to like. Gordy, meanwile, was dictatorial with his singers, controling every aspect of their careers.
But wile the singers were modelled into stars, the group of musicians that played with them did not get the recognition for their work that they marited. If they had, they would have had more number one hits than the Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and the Beatles combined. Ultimatley, Gordy could not maintain his dictatorial control and the most talented artists, including Marvin Gaye and Michel Jackson, began the develop in their own styles.

Diary: September

1rst week: In this week I doing a new things because I restarted the school and I started a basketball training.

2nd week: In the school we doing a lot of work, because we started to doing exams. It's very difficult. I played a basketball match and I doesn't play very well.

3rst week: This week we worked hard at school. This weekend I went to see the Barça in the Camp Nou. But we haven't played a game of basketball.

Writing: Last summer

The last summer has been the best of my life. After the school, in June,
I went to a campus "El Collell" with my friends.
Then In the end of June I went to Sant Antoni de Calonge with my family. I
went to meet friends, to the beach and fishing. In the end of July I went
to Set Cases with my family. In Set Cases we went to the mountain, to Ripoll,
to Núria, to Vallter... It's fantastic!
After that I went back to San Antoni and I spent the rest of the summer
with my cousin. In the end of August I went back to Banyoles and I started a
basketball training with my team.
