They said that in the world there are a lot of different bands but only a few become famous. Most of the bands famouse don't come from London. Radiohead and Supergrass are from Oxford, Kaiser Chiefs and Pulp are from Sheffield, The Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays are from Manchester, and Franz Ferdinand and Travis are from Glasgow. Some singers and bands have become successful through the Internet, such as the Arctic Monkeys and Lily Allen.
